McCain's VP: Sarah Palin

Well, that was a bit of a surprise, but based on the little I know about Gov. Palin, I'd say she's a good choice. I made the mistake of visiting Instapundit before writing this, and Glenn made the same observation I have, which is that Sarah Palin has more executive experience than anyone else on either ticket.

It remains to be seen whether Gov. Palin has the moxie to do well down the stretch to November, but I suspect she does. I also suspect she'll be able to hold her own in debate with "Grinnin' Joe" Biden, given her record of toughness.

All in all, a good choice, in my opinion, and even if the Dems win in November, Sarah Palin is now a force to be reckoned with in American politics, if she wants to be.
